Getting started with Securina only takes a few steps. If you don't already have an AWS account, follow the guide below.

Step 1 – Create an AWS Account

Creating an AWS account usually takes about 5–10 minutes.

1. Visit the AWS website and select Create an AWS Account.

2. Enter your email address and account name. Your email will become your AWS root account.

3. Choose Personal Account if you're subscribing as an individual. (It provides the same Marketplace functionality as a business account.)

4. Create a strong password. We also recommend enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for additional account security.

Step 2 – Add a Payment Method

A valid payment method is required before subscribing through AWS Marketplace.

1. Enter your credit card information. AWS may place a temporary authorization charge (typically around USD $1), which will be automatically refunded.

2. Complete identity verification using your mobile phone.

3. Choose an AWS Support Plan. If you're only using AWS Marketplace, Basic Support is sufficient for most users.

Step 3 – Subscribe on AWS Marketplace

Once your AWS account is activated (usually within an hour), you're ready to subscribe.

1. Search for Securina or Cryptina in AWS Marketplace.

2. Review the pricing and check whether a Free Trial is available.

3. Select Continue to Subscribe.

4. Review the End User License Agreement (EULA) and choose Accept Terms to continue.

Step 4 – Activate Your Subscription

Subscribing through AWS Marketplace is only the first step. You'll then be guided to activate your Securina account.

1. Select Continue to Configuration.

2. Choose Launch.

3. You'll be redirected to the Securina registration page to complete your account setup.

4. After activation, download the software, assign your license, and you're ready to start protecting your files.
